Although I’m definitely a believer that a healthy lifestyle and diet are the biggest contributors to to your skin, there are still some products I swear by to keep my skin clear and healthy,
I also don’t think that you need to spend a small fortune to look after your skin. If you’re on a budget but still want beautiful skin, it really comes down to a bit of effort and consistency. No make up wipes! Here are the products I use religiously :) Bia Beauty Cleanser I discovered this avbout three years ago and it’s the one product I panic if I run out!! This is a gorgeous moisturising cleanser that doubles up as a really light exfoliator, so you’re renewing your skin daily without being too abrasive. I honestly swear by this stuff! It’s also an Irish brand from Cork so win-win! See it here: biabeauty.com/orange-and-grapefruit-facial-exfoliant-and-cleanser.html Avene Serum This is a new find. I always use a serum before moisturising as I find it really penetrates into the skin. To be very honest I haven’t yet found ‘the one’, but this is pretty decent and gets the job done! See it here: www.boots.ie/hydrance-optimale-hydrating-serum-30-ml-10084155 Green Angel Eye Gel Mow I’m a bit lazy when it comes to this but I do try to remember to throw on a little something around my eye area. This one is light and cooling and also Irish(I always trust Irish brands with skincare not really sure why!) See it here: www.greenangel.com/product/green-angel-seaweed-aloe-eye-gel/ No7 Beautiful Skin Moisturiser When it comes to high street moisturisers, No7 is amazing. I’ve tried many over the years and have had awful problems with creams being too heavy and only clogging up my pores! This is light, neutral and also has SPF 15. These are almost always on offer in Boots which I also like! See it here: www.boots.ie/no7-beautiful-skin-day-cream-for-normal-oily-skin-spf-15-50ml-10134572 Rosewater Toning is a step I can’t quite decide how important it really is? Nonetheless I’ve been using rosewater as my toner for a long time and it seem to do the job, which you may argue with my but I tink is basically just getting rid of any excess makeup or anything on your face. Rosewater is natural, with no crazy ingredients and super affordable too. (available in most health stores) Coconut oil Yep I’m one of them! Honestly though, coconut oil is probably the best thing you can put on your skin. Try it. TRUST me. I use this instead of a moisturiser at night. (WARNING: You so tent to look like you’re ready for the oven at bedtime!) (available pretty much everywhere nowadays -I picked mine up in Tesco!) The Body Shop Seaweed Clay Mask There are loads of these popping up on the high street but this is the best in my opinion. It’s a little pricier than some but so worth it! Use this once a week and it literally draws all of the toxins out of your skin! See it here: www.thebodyshop.ie/shop-by-range/seaweed/seaweed-oil-balancing-clay-mask-100ml.html Nuxe Lip Balm I picked this up when I was on holiday in France in May and I absolutely love it! If you happen to be in France you’ll get all the French skincare brands for about half the price they would be here because there is obviously no shipping costs added there. The skincare sections of the pharmacies there are HEAVEN if you’re anything like me! This is made with honey and it’d very thick – great for putting on at night to let work its magic!
